This Privacy Policy explains how Banker Group (“Banker Group”, “we” or “us”) handles personal data collected through this website and when you contact us using the details on it. It reflects our obligations under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended by Amendment No. 13, and the regulations made under it; under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), where it applies; and under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law, Law No. 13,709/2018 (“LGPD”).

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Banker Group, 32 Raziel St, Ramat Gan, Israel, is the controller of your personal data (the “database controller” under Israeli law and the controlador under the LGPD), meaning that we decide why and how it is processed. 2. The personal data we collect

The only personal data this website asks you for is what you enter in our forms:

Contact form: full name, company, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the profile that best describes you (“I am…”) and your message.
Submit a Challenge: full name, company, role, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, country of the site, industry, challenge type, a description of the challenge, the data available, your timeline, any file you attach (PDF, DOCX, XLSX or CSV, up to 10 MB), your consent and, if you tick the box, your request for a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Submit a Technology: full name, company, email, phone, country, technology name, industry focus, readiness level, intellectual-property status, target markets, what you are looking for, a description, a link, any file you attach and your consent.
Venture one-pager request: full name, company, work email, the one-pager you would like and your consent.

Technical data. Each form submission also records the date and time, the page it was sent from, your IP address and basic information about your browser. Our hosting provider processes similar technical data in its server logs, and may set a security cookie, to deliver and protect the website. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, and we do not use technical data to profile you.

Direct contact. If you email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we handle the details you share in line with this policy.

Required fields are marked. You are under no legal obligation to give us your data, but without the required information we may not be able to respond. Please do not include sensitive data, such as health information, and share other people’s details only if you are entitled to do so.

3. How we use your data and our legal bases

We use your personal data only for these purposes:

Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); LGPD Art. 7, I): you give it by ticking the box on our forms, and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us, without affecting earlier processing.
Pre-contractual steps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); LGPD Art. 7, V): steps you ask us to take, such as evaluating your challenge or preparing an NDA or proposal.
Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); LGPD Art. 7, IX): responding to business enquiries (particularly where you act for an organisation), developing business relationships, keeping proper records and securing the website. We rely on this basis only where your rights and interests do not override ours, and you may object at any time.
Legal obligation and legal claims (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) and (f); LGPD Art. 7, II and VI).

Under Israeli law, we rely on the informed consent you give when you send us your data, and use it only for the purposes described here or as the law permits. We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

4. Who we share your data with

Our team: only Banker Group team members who need your data to handle your enquiry, including people working on the group venture it concerns.
Partners: only where this is needed to answer your enquiry (for example, a technology owner or industrial partner relevant to your challenge), under a duty of confidentiality, and only after we have told you, so that you can object.
Service providers: our website host, uPress (Israel), and our email service providers, which process data on our behalf and only on our instructions.
Advisers and authorities: professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and courts, regulators or other authorities where the law requires it or where this is needed to protect our rights.
Business transfers: a successor or acquirer if we reorganise or sell all or part of our business, subject to this policy.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. International transfers

Banker Group is based in Israel and our website is hosted by uPress, an Israeli provider, so if you are outside Israel your data will be processed outside your own country; our email service providers may also process it elsewhere. The European Commission recognises Israel as providing adequate protection for personal data.

Where the law treats this as an international transfer, we rely on a lawful mechanism: for data from Brazil, one of those in Article 33 of the LGPD, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the ANPD or the need to take steps you have requested before a contract; for data from the European Economic Area (EEA), an adequacy decision or safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses; and for data leaving Israel, the conditions set by Israeli law.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep form submissions and related correspondence only as long as needed for the purposes above, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless an ongoing business relationship or a legal obligation requires a longer period. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for a limited period for security purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.

7. How we protect your data

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks involved, in line with the Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, and other applicable law. They include encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access limited to authorised team members who need the data for their work and are bound by confidentiality, and our hosting provider’s security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. That is one reason why we ask you not to send confidential information before an NDA is in place (see section 10). If a security incident affects your data, we will act promptly and notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

know whether we process your data, access it and receive a copy;
have inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out-of-date data corrected;
have your data deleted (for example, where it is no longer needed, you withdraw consent or it was processed unlawfully) and, under the LGPD, have unnecessary or excessive data anonymised or blocked;
restrict our processing, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to another provider, where the law provides for this;
withdraw your consent at any time, and be told whether you may refuse consent and what the consequences would be;
know which organisations we have shared your data with.

Israeli law entitles you to inspect personal data about you held in a database and to ask us to correct or delete it if it is not accurate, complete, clear or up to date. All of these rights are subject to the exceptions set by law.

Exercising your rights. Email ronny@bankergroup.co. We may ask you to confirm your identity; there is no charge. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. Under the LGPD, for example, a complete response to a request for confirmation or access is due within 15 days.

Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so that we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority; to the data protection authority of the EU or EEA country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place; or to Brazil’s National Data Protection Agency (ANPD).

9. Children

This website is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe that a minor has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Confidential information and NDAs

Please do not send confidential or proprietary information (such as trade secrets, unpublished technical data or commercially sensitive information) through the website or by email before a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) has been signed. Share a non-confidential summary first; if you ask us to, we will send a mutual NDA before any detailed exchange of data. Venture one-pagers and detailed technical material are confidential: we share them only on request, often under an NDA, and they may be used only to evaluate the opportunity concerned. 11. Third-party links and cookies

The website contains plain links to third-party services, such as Google Maps (“Open in Google Maps”) and WhatsApp, including our floating WhatsApp button. Nothing is loaded from these services until you click. Once you follow a link, the third party’s own terms and privacy policy apply (Google’s for Google Maps and Meta’s for WhatsApp), and we are not responsible for their practices. 12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish any update on this page with a new effective date and, if the changes are significant, take reasonable steps to tell you.
