Banker Group launches its bilingual platform for Brazil and Latin America

A new home for industrial challenges and advanced technologies, in English and Portuguese.

Banker Group has launched its new website in English and Brazilian Portuguese. It brings together, in one place, the group’s work in industrial innovation: connecting industrial challenges with advanced technologies, strategic capital and global markets, with a particular focus on deployment in Brazil and Latin America.

Why two languages

Many of the technologies the group works with come from Israel’s research ecosystem and from technology providers worldwide. Many of the plants that need them operate in Portuguese and Spanish. A technology that cannot be explained clearly to a plant manager in Minas Gerais or to a mill engineer in the interior of São Paulo will not reach the control room, however good the science behind it.

The Portuguese edition is therefore not a translation layer added at the end. Both editions were written for their readers, in the language of the people who run the plants.

Portuguese is not a translation layer. It is the language in which the plants are run.

What the site covers

The site follows the way the group works, from the first site visit to full-scale deployment:

  • What we do: six capabilities, from identifying industrial challenges and scouting technologies to structuring partnerships, executing proofs of concept and supporting investment and market entry.
  • How we work: five stages, each ending in an explicit decision gate.
  • Industries: mining and critical minerals; water and environmental technologies; sugar, ethanol and bioenergy; agriculture and biotechnology; industrial AI; and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
  • Portfolio: the group’s ventures, its technology partners and the technologies it is currently evaluating.
  • Markets: Israel for technology and innovation, Brazil for industrial deployment, Latin America for expansion through partnerships, and the group’s international project experience.

Two ways in

Two dedicated channels sit at the centre of the site. Industrial companies can describe an operational challenge, such as recovery losses, water and effluent constraints, residues or cyber exposure, and receive a confidential first conversation under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Technology owners can present a solution that is ready to meet industrial demand in Brazil, Latin America or elsewhere; every submission is evaluated against real client needs.

In both cases, the site asks only for non-confidential information at first. Detailed data is exchanged under NDA.

Why Brazil

Brazil combines world-scale mining, the world’s largest sugarcane crop and an agro-industry that ranks among the world’s largest food exporters. Centre-South mills alone crushed about 611 million tonnes of cane in the 2025/26 season, according to UNICA, and the country imported a record 45.5 million tonnes of fertiliser in 2025, according to Conab. Scale of that kind is where industrial technologies prove themselves, or fall short.

The News & Insights section brings together the group’s announcements and sector analysis, from water treatment and critical minerals to sugar-energy and industrial AI. Questions and proposals are welcome in either language.
